PSP Go to Game 1, 2 and 5 euros on the PlayStation Store.

According to some sources site PocketGamer.co.uk, Sony reveal the arrival GamesCom games at low prices as we had already announced in this article but as we already mentioned Richard Benoit at the 'IDEF 2009 (Exclusive - Interview with Richard Benoit) which reads in part:

 EDB: It appears that Sony has asked publishers to create games cheaper and more casual. What is it?

 RB: We try to have a range of games and a price range that can suit everyone. Obviously, there are premium games like Monster Hunter, Soul Calibur, Final Fantasy Dissidia, Harry Potter, Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo but there are also mini-games, and PS1 games like Crash Bandicoot, the Final Fantasy, the Metal Gear Solid for example. It takes for all tastes, all budgets, we are not asking for publishers but we tell them that if they are able to offer a range of prices wide enough, there is a real market for games to 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 euros.

  According to PocketGamer, the prices of these games would be set at 1, 2 and € 5 which is still below the statement we had made the head of communications CESG France. If this is true, Sony will compete with what the Apple Store, which offers games ranging up to € 9.99.

These games are there to balance it with the high price of the PSP Go! (250 €) and to allow small developers to work with the PSP. Sony has also asked the developers to bring the iPhone games for PSP.

 According to the site, 50 developers have already signed with Sony to publish games on the PlayStation Store.

 These rumors join the information already mentioned in this article, but Sony has not officially confirmed.

 Note however that, unlike Apple, Sony does not and SDK to upload a game, a developer must necessarily invest in buying it. This difference in philosophy will, whatever happens, stop filling the Sony Store by amateurs as is the case for the Apple Store. Damage.
