The developer announces hardhat participated in development of Idol 2, organized by the site psp-hacks at the beginning of this year. The contest will close its doors on 31 May 2009, and present prizes to the winners. The only requirement to participate in this contest is to create a homebrew 3D.
Participants in the competition Idol 2 are rare, since the programming of 3D homebrews on PSP is extremely complicated. However, hardhat comes by surprise, and reveals his homebrew that will participate in the contest. We will certainly not disappointed in the publication thereof, Hardhat's Battle Arena, which seems very promising.
Here is the video released by hardhat to present his work:
hardhat said that the title screen was changed, and the gameplay was very stable. He is currently working on the animation of the players. You must battle against characters controlled by the computer, although the author intends to include a two player mode.
Some catches of Hardhat's Battle Arena:
The 3D homebrews on PSP are rare and often backward, but he has the motivation to win the Idol 2. Hopefully hardhat to go through to deliver a good game on PSP arena.
