Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron confirmed!

Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron was announced by the ESRB last week (see article: A second would be Star Wars ... in preparation). Activision confirms the arrival of this title on PSP and DS!

 For now, only this information were available:

 This is an action game in which players find the fighting of the universe of Star Wars. Presented in a perspective in the third person (GST), the game allows players to engage in space, on Earth and in battles in the air or to carry troops to a basic strategy. Players can use laser weapons, explosives, swords and lasers to destroy enemy robots and humans can grow cries when they feel attacked. In a dramatic scene, an unarmed man may be cut by a laser sword, while another character is drawn in the back with a blaster.

But the publisher has unveiled new information. In this opus, the player assumes the identity of an X2 which is a clone created from DNA of a Jedi master. Initially designed to eliminate all the Jedi, he eventually joined the Rebellion.

 But his "brother clone", X1, chooses a far more sinister way that may well determine the fate of the Empire and the Rebellion.

 The PSP game will offer tremendous options, it is more usual in a Star Wars Battlefront, and will fully customize your character (weapons for combat, the weapons carried on the back, the species, sex, l appearance, and the forces ....

 A multiplayer mode supports up to 16 players is also provided!
